Deciding on Food and Appetizers

Monday, December 28th, 2009

Whenever I am planning a dinner for my family, it’s always a major decision as to what I will serve them. Since we are an Italian family, it’s customary to serve a variety of Italian meat at the meal. This includes an antipasto platter, Italian soup, and a good deal of other starters.

Then the big decision of what to serve as the main meal comes up. It’s always tough choosing something the entire family will like. In the end, I will probably decide to make something relatively easy such as a homemade lasagna dish. This is a family favorite and the dish is always empty at the end of the meal.

My recommendation for a great Italian meal is to serve those wonderful Italian meats!

How to Decide on the Best Italian Meat

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

I could never decide what kind of Italian meat I wanted to buy. There are many different varieties and vendors to choose from. I simply could not make a decision without doing some research.

I found Volpi Foods, an Italian meat producer in St. Louis. They have the best techniques and produce the best meats I have ever had. Once I ate my first batch, I was smitten! I knew every decision based on Italian meat would be easy and clear. Volpi Foods fan for life!
